Joining the Menopause Running Club costs £47. It’s a one off fee. As soon as you pay you can download your 12 week Run Stronger Programme and join the private Facebook Group .

The 12 week plan includes short workouts that fit around your weekly run. It gives you a plan to vary your weekly runs to get stronger, fitter and recover better.
There are 2 x strength sessions per week. These get progressively harder over the 12 weeks. You have the option to start with short 15 minute workouts and progress at your own speed.
The plan also includes 15 minute mobility sessions, ideal either as a warm up or to do on recovery days.
Another feature of the plan is adding in small movement snacks each day. Daily habits that literally take a couple of minutes that add up for powerful strength benefits.
Nutrition is an important part of the plan too. You’ll get guidelines to eat the right amount of protein and carbs, how to eat to fuel your runs and recover better, and simple recipes to follow.
If you are running to lose weight, you’ll also learn how to eat and train to achieve a weight loss goal.

All levels. We currently have members who are total beginners, following Couch to 5K or training to join their first Park Run.
At the other end of the scale we have members who have run ultra marathons - and everything in between.
Many members started running in their 40s and 50s.
What we all have in common is that menopause has affected our running and we know we need to eat and train differently now.

No. You can do the workouts at home or in the gym if you are a member.

If you are working out at home you will need a mat and some dumbbells. Many exercises just use bodyweight. If you are unsure about what weights to buy, simply message Gabrielle and she will give you some recommendations.

All workouts can be done in 15 minutes. If you have more time there are options to extend them to 30 or 45 minutes.

All workouts include follow-along videos, which clearly explain how to do each exercise correctly.
Plus, extra in-depth technique videos are posted each week.
If you have a specific question about an exercise, you can message Gabrielle and she will help you.

The Facebook group is structured to help you get the best from the 12 week plan - and beyond.
It’s an active group run by Gabrielle and includes the following:
Weekly live sessions covering topics members need support with: e.g. motivation, how to fit everything in when life is busy, how to run and eat for weight loss, how to improve energy for more enjoyable running.
Members also post photos of their runs to keep each other motivated.
We have regular Q&As
And a weekly progress check in every Sunday to help keep you accountable.
Plus Gabrielle regularly posts new resources to help you keep making progress: new workouts and recipes and tips to help you with motivation and to get the most out of your training.
If you have any questions or need help with anything, you can post it in the group and Gabrielle will help.
I started the Menopause Running Club…
Because I’m passionate about staying fit and strong so I can keep running. Running means more to me now than when I started in my 20s, but it is much harder.
Menopause changed my body; how it responds to training, how it recovers. And the combination of years sat at a desk, holding tension and running with no idea about good form, eventually took its toll.
I retrained as a personal trainer in my late 40s, but regular strength training wasn’t enough. I needed to learn how to train in a different way.
And the Menopause Running Club is a place where I can share that knowledge with you and make it easy for you to follow.
You’ll get the 12 Week Run Strong Training Plan, a specially designed programme for midlife women that covers strength, agility, mobility and balance.
But this is more than just a training plan. Its a place where we can help, motivate and support each other to keep going.
Running gives us something special. It makes us feel strong, confident and capable. It can transform us. It can change lives.
The Menopause Running Club is a place to celebrate that. and a place for us to encourage each other to use running to open doors onto new adventures.
