Menopause hit me harder than I expected; aches and pains, constant injury, cravings, weight gain & low motivation.
I was scared to exercise and didn’t know how to fuel myself without gaining even more weight, but I couldn’t find anyone who really understood what I was going through, so I retrained as a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Advisor at 48 to find the answers myself.
Strength training was my starting point, but I discovered general strength training wasn’t right for me as a runner, and most diet and fitness advice certainly didn’t take into account women going through menopause!
For over 5 years, I’ve worked with hundreds of midlife women, helping them get stronger, run and recover better, and stop fighting their bodies.
