Menopause Symptoms & Runners
Most runners don’t expect menopause to affect their running. But it does, and it often feels like the changes come out of no-where.
It’s a time of real confusion, affecting our confidence and leaving us unsure whether running is doing us more harm than good.
In this guide I explain some of the common symptoms that are most concerning to runners and provide advice on how to manage them so you can keep on running, with the confidence that its still right for you.

Menopause doesn’t have to stop you running on your terms.
Yes, our bodies are changing, and its not easy. And midlife makes it even harder.
This is when we really need running.
To keep us sane.
To keep us connected to that part of us that we know and understand.
Yet, when running becomes a struggle, and creates fear of getting worse or having to stop entirely, it prevents us from experiencing the joy and freedom thats so important to us.
But it doesn’t have to be like this.
Because when you change your training and nutrition to work with your body, you stop fighting the change, and running becomes easier.
I’m helping midlife runners cope with menopause and become better runners every day.
